Madara Liepiņa born in Riga, Latvia into a family of musicians, began playing the violin at the age of six. From 2012 to 2018 she studied at the Latvian Jāzeps Vītols Academy of Music, obtaining the Masters grade. Since 2017 he has been improving in Italy with Maestro Roberto Muttoni and is project assistant "Maxim Jacobsen. As a soloist and with various chamber ensembles he has won numerous competitions, in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Armenia and Italy. Top achievements include 1st prize at the Brother and Sister International Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia (2003), 1st prize at the National Violin Competition in Riga (2004 and 2008), 1st prize (2007) the International Competition for young musicians in Sigulda, Latvia, 3rd prize at the International Competition - Festival for chamber music of TA Gaidamovich in Magnitogorsk, Russia, 1st prize (2014), 1st prize (2015), 1st Award (2016) of the Best Chamber Musicians Competition of the Conservatory in Riga, 1st prize (2018) Young artists of Verona, and recorded live concerts for Radio Classica. He participated in masterclasses with Petru Munteanu, Anton Baranov, Ludmila Yesenina , Magnus Ericsson, Peter Herrestahl, Vadim Gluzman and Kyoko Takezawa. From 2016 to 2017 the Ingesunds Musikhogskolan of Arvika (Sweden) entrusted her with a violin by Gaetano Pollastri (1936), she currently plays a violin by Giovanni Lazzaro (Padova, Italy).
In 2022, in collaboration with M° Roberto Muttoni, written a method on the improvement of violin technique in 3 parts published by Musica Baltica.

Madara Liepiņa, dzimusi Rīgā, Latvijā mūziķu ģimenē un vijoli sākusi apgūt sešu gadu vecumā. No 2012. līdz 2018. gadam studē Jāzepa Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas akadēmijā, kur iegūst maģistra diplomu. Kopš 2017. gada pilnveidojas Itālijā pie M ° Roberto Muttoni, kā arī asistē meistarklašu projektu "Maksims Jākobsens". Kā soliste un ar dažādiem kameransambļiem ir uzvarējusi konkursus Latvijā, Lietuvā, Igaunijā, Vācijā, Zviedrijā, Norvēģijā, Krievijā, Armēnijā un Itālijā. Svarīgākie rezultāti iekļauj 1.vietu “Brālis un māsa” starptautiskajā konkursā Sanktpēterburgā, Krievijā (2003), 1. vietu Nacionālajā vijolnieku konkursā Rīgā (2004. un 2008. gadā), 1. vietu Starptautiskajā konkursā jaunajiem mūziķiem Siguldā, Latvijā (2007. g.), 3. vietu Starptautiskajā T. A. Gaidamovičas konkursā - kamermūzikas festivālā Magnitogorskā, Krievijā (2014), 1. vietu (2015. un 2016. g.) JVLMA labākais kameransamblis un 1. vietu konkursā Jaunie Veronas mākslinieki (2018.g.), kā arī ir ierakstījusi tiešraides koncertus Radio Klasika. Piedalījusies meistarklasēs pie Petru Munteanu, Antona Baranova, Ludmilas Jeseņinas, Magnusa Eriksona, Petera Herrestala, Vadima Gluzmana Kjoko Takezavas u.c. 2017. gada Arvikas (Zviedrija) Ingesunds Musikhogskolan uzticēja Madarai spēlēt Gaetano Pollastri (1936) vijoli, bet kopš 2018.gada Italijā ir privileģēta spēlēt Giovanni Lazzaro vijoli (Paduja, Italija).
2022.gadā sadarbībā ar M° Roberto Muttoni, sarakstīta mācību grāmata Vijolspēles tehnikas pilnveidošana 3 daļās (izdevniecība Musica Baltica).

Dal 2012 al 2018 ha studiato all'Accademia di musica lettone Jāzeps Vītols ottenendo il Masters grade. Dal 2017 si sta perfezionando in Italia con il M° Roberto Muttoni ed è assistente del progetto "Maxim Jacobsen. Come solista e con vari ensemble da camera ha vinto numerosi Concorsi, in Lettonia, Lituania, Estonia, Germania, Svezia, Norvegia, Russia, Armenia e Italia. I risultati più importanti includono il 1° premio al Concorso internazionale Brother and Sister a San Pietroburgo, Russia (2003), 1° premio al Concorso nazionale di violino in Riga (2004 e 2008), 1° premio (2007) l'International Concorso per giovani musicisti a Sigulda, in Lettonia, 3° premio all'International Competition - Festival for chamber music of T. A. Gaidamovich a Magnitogorsk, in Russia, 1° premio (2014), 1° premio (2015), 1° premio (2016) del Concorso Migliori musicisti di musica da camera del Conservatorio in Riga, 1° premio (2018) Giovani artisti di Verona, e ha registrato concerti live per Radio Classica. Ha partecipato a masterclass con Petru Munteanu, Anton Baranov, Ludmila Yesenina, Magnus Ericsson, Peter Herrestahl, Vadim Gluzman e Kyoko Takezawa. Dal 2016 al 2017 la Ingesunds Musikhogskolan di Arvika (Svezia) le ha affidato un violino di Gaetano Pollastri (1936), attualmente suona un violino di Giovanni Lazzaro (Padova, Italia).
Nel 2022, in collaborazione con il M° Roberto Muttoni, ha scritto un metodo sul perfezionamento della tecnica violinistica in 3 parti (casa editrice Musica Baltica).
